These images were taken in the summer of 2022. I soaked film rolls in various household substances and drinks. The series represents a variety of different soaks — some created soft pastel light, and others a peachy golden overlay. To me, the effects of this series makes me unusually aware of the presence of the camera. I see the photographs as if I'm still looking through a viewfinder. It reminds me that I am a tourist. I see new things and I will try to remember them.
