EXHIBITION IDENTITY &
MARKETING MATERIALS
Client: Southern Utah Museum of Art
2025
Art Director: Emily Ronquillo
The Annual Art Auction is held as a fundraiser at Southern Utah Museum of Art. My role was designing the exhibition identity, the wall signage, the catalog, and other marketing materials such as the invitation, RSVP cards, wine bottle label, and more.

The client requested a semi-formal feeling to the branding for this 30th year anniversary of the Art Auction. They wanted the color palette to heavily feature black and silver, but for the overall feeling to remain accessible and fun.
For the typography, I leaned on Altesse for some aspects of formality (as a script typeface) but in the end I changed the Ss in the logo to a different script typeface to soften the feeling.
Garamond, set in all caps for subtitles and normally for the body copy, lent legibility and trustworthiness to the brand.
The illustration style is another area where I leaned away from the formal. The images are created with a halftone texture and an overlay that warms the color palette a bit.
